I am constantly thinking, finding, researching, and brainstorming fun activities to do with my girls. My girls love to play in the water, water play might very well be one of their favorite things to do. So, I set up a little science experiment... I filled one bowl full of ice, filled one bowl with warm water, and one with cold water. I got out as many different utensils one could possibly think of (all different sizes and shapes) and laid them by the bowls. Then, I let my girls go to town! I did not model any type of instruction, I simply sat back and took pictures. It was incredible how they manipulated, explored, and problem solved with these different materials. Science at it's best! They had so much fun, they tasted the ice, poured, picked up, collaborated, and shared.
This was a super fun and free activity to do with your little ones. I started water play with my girls when they were almost a year old, never too young or old to play in the water!!! I hope you enjoy the pictures!
