Farewell Summer!!!

Our summer is nearing the end, and the girls will soon start Mother's Day Out!!! We have had a wonderful summer but we are looking forward to some structure and routine in this house!!!

We have gone school supply shopping and gotten haircuts... we are almost ready for school to start!!!

 

Dance will be starting soon so we had to go get ballet and tap shoes... they are SO SO SO excited!!

This RARELY happens, but when it does... sure makes shopping easy!!!

My Church is Kind of a Big Deal!!! If you are looking for a church home, we encourage you to try out Journey Church - it is awesome and our girls LOVE it!!!

Greetings my friends! I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend! Allen and I visited some of our family in Washington D.C. this week, we stayed at Chesapeake Beach, went sailing, toured monuments, shopped, ate fancy food, and so much more! We had a wonderful time on our trip, and we loved hanging out with Yokley's in D.C.

This was the beginning of one of the days...

Before we headed off to Washington, the girls and I kept busy... We visited Petco, the girls LOVE to look at all of the animals, today they were amazed at the 3 snakes that were quite attentive...

We got sno cones, Londyn insisted on wearing her owl shirt under her clothes this day... pick and choose your battles, oh, and please notice her spider ring!!!

At this point in time, this is our favorite game! I build a bridge and a path with pillows and the girls have to jump off the bridge and get to the other side before the alligator (me) catches them!!! They laugh hysterically, it is precious!!!

 We attended our very first vacation bible school, and the girls did great!!!

We spent a few hours at Pi Phi helping with recruitment. The girls made instant friends and even learned to how to halo!!! My sweet little legacies!!! Londyn later told me that she loved all of the "mommies" at Phi Phi!

Have I ever mentioned how much this child loves ice cream... it is her all time favorite food!!!

Hello Friends!!!

I know, I know, it's been awhile. My only excuse - I've been busy... but, I am back!!! Our summer has been so wonderful, super laid back, uneventful, and just perfect.

Big news in the Cox household... I have decided to stay at home with my girls this year! I am extremely excited and I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to give my girls my undivided attention and time. Not going to lie, it is going to be a change. One thing I love about being a working mom is the routine and structure that it has created for my girls - I am going to do my best to keep some sort of structure in place. The girls will still attend mother's day out and I will continue to be a Stella & Dot stylist. Just thought I would let you all know!!!

I look forward to hanging out with these little cuties all day, everyday!!!

Little Bit of THis, Little Bit of That

Sorry for the blog update delay, I haven't had much time to sit down and update. The girls are growing up so quickly. I know that sounds silly for me to say but I can't believe they are going to be 3 in 2 short months... I need time to stand still for awhile. I am loving this age, I feel like I say that at every age but seriously... they are so much fun and so busy. They are talking NON-stop, exploring and discovering new things every single day. I am constantly impressed by how smart they both are, it is incredible the amount of information that they can learn and retain at this age... I love it!!! My blog title will fit my pictures perfectly, quite random, a little bit of this and a little bit of that!!! Have a great week, I'm off work tomorrow... SO AWESOME!!!

Birthday Party time has begun... within the next 3 months we will go to about  5 parties... at least. I LOVE IT, so did the girls!!!

To the Library We Go...

Today we took daddy to the library. L&L love the library and they were so excited to show Allen all around. They proudly returned their books to the book drop, played with the puzzles, computer (Londyn's favorite), puppets (Liv's favorite) and completed the visit by checking out two books each. Library visit, success and we only had one meltdown!!! Hope you all have a great weekend! We have Campbell's birthday party tomorrow, we are excited to celebrate with her.

This little lady LOVES her baby dolls. She loves to line them all up, feed them, nap with them, and be their boss!

 I LOVE when I walk in and see this, it's not often enough... Sharing at it's finest, a skill we constantly work on.
