To all of my blogging friends, I am so sorry... It has been awhile! We have been crazy busy. We are slowing down now and getting back onto the swing of things. So I am here to return to one of my most favorite pastimes, blogging.
This post will be a great big Hod-Podge of events and things that we have been up to. I hope you enjoy and stay tuned, I have much to update you on.
Want a preview... My sweet little Livi Grace is walking!!! Okay, I can't wait... she took like 50 steps today.... at the most like 8 in a row and then BOOM, on the ground. I am so excited. Livi you were 14 months and 9 days when you started walking. Adjusted (gestation) you would be 12 month and 9 days... I usually don't pull the excuse of them being a preemie but, I will choose to do so on this one.
Londyn is well on her way. Not too interested but we are working on it. I know that on her time she will choose to use those little rolly polly legs to do something other than crawl or bounce. But for now, she loves for me to hold her sweet little hands and carefully guide her. And, who am I kidding... am I really ready to have 2 14 month olds running circles around me? God is definitely looking out for me.
4 Generations of TWINS!!!!
We finally got all of the twins together. You are looking at 4 sets of twins. The boy set are Troy (my pa) & Roy. The older Boy Girl set are Karie & Kevin(my cousins). The younger Boy Girl set are John & Chelsae (my brother and sister). The Girl set are my sweet girls Londyn & Livia. The lovely lady in the middle is my Great Grandma, the woman responsible for the beginning of the twins. Thank goodness she got this whole thing started cause I don't know what I would have done with one baby and oh how I love my twins.

I can't imagine being a twin. What an incredible bond. Can you imagine having a womb mate (hahaha)? How awesome is that? Since we came home from the NICU my girls have never been apart. Can you imagine, being with someone every single second of every single day. You might get frustrated with them, which mine do with one another but then... They Communicate. They sit and chat with one another in their own little language, as if it were English. They stick their fingers in each others mouth, nose, and eyes. Londyn will lean over, wrap her arms around Livi and squeeze, giving her the tightest hug a one year old could and later, Livi will open mouth kiss that sweet sissy of hers. They will full belly laugh together, the kind where it almost hurts. I love to watch the friendship, trust, tolerance, and unconditional love that these two sweeties are experiencing with one another. My hope is that they will grow up as independent women who know that they have a sister and friend that love them unconditionally. I want them to choose their own paths yet knowing that they always have a safe place with their sister. Someone that they can always turn to, an ear that will listen, and someone who will always give honest advise. Be each others rock and through and through love one another. I love you both so much.

My Girls
4th of July!!!
Our 4th of July was laid back and fun! We started off by visiting Memaw, Pa, and Trudy. Then, as the rain died down we went to Courtney and Chris's home for a cookout and fireworks show. It was a great time. The girls got to play with Lexie, we ate some yummy food, visited with family and friends, and watched an amazing fireworks show.
Rain, Rain, Go AWAY!
Fun with Lexie!!!
Into EVERYTHING & LOVING it!!!
So the girls are into everything and they are loving it. I am actually loving it also. Let me explain. Even though my days are filled with constantly keeping my eyes glued on 2 quick little stinkers, I am so glad that they are making these incredible accomplishments and discoveries. When I am feeling overwhelmed with my stacked up laundry, my empty cabinets (because the tupperware is all over the kitchen floor), the dogs water bowl water all over the floor, the nicely organized books in the bookshelf now all over the floor, I remind myself... I am so glad that my girls are able to do these things. I am grateful for the healthy and active precious girls that are wearing me smooth out. It's easy to wish they would just stay out of things... but how would that really look? So girls, keep on keepin' on and wear this proud momma out. Thank you God for these on the go babies and I pray that you continue to bless us!
What...
Oh Mom... But it is SO Fun!!!
Ok... It was my idea...
This girl is getting even more ornery every day!
Da.. and a point.
Londyn's new thing. I love it.
She is pointing at everything and talking all about it.
Yes... She is rocking some pigtails!
And yes, she is getting some hair!
She has sweet little curls in the back
and her hair is actually really light.
I hope you are all enjoying your summer.
See You Soon!!!
