You Are My Sunshine!

My little Sunshine Girls and I have been spending some time outside... in the mornings at least. During the day it is way too hot so we get our Sunshine early in the morning. The girls get up EVERY day around 7:15 and after breakfast, I take them outside. They love it... the simple things!

And she's off...
Just checking out the flowers!
The girls LOVE to scoot the dog's toys as close to the
door as possible and then they throw all of the toys out.
Just hugging on her momma!!! My little love!!!
And this little love is so happy!!!
Have I told you how we love our walks!
Well, we really love them!

Yes, Livi is rockin' a ponytail!!!
Londyn is getting so close! Grow hair Grow!!!
And... By the end of our walk someone dropped my camera
and broke it! Mommy's fault for leaving the camera in the wagon.
This is how the pics look now.
Have I mentioned Livi's new love for the pacifier...
That's a whole other post!
Love my Little Sunshine's!!!

Happy Father's Day

What a wonderful day to celebrate! Today we had a laid back kind of day, just how daddy likes it. We ate lunch, played, took a nap, played outside in the sprinkler, watched some golf, visited with family, bathed our babes, and relaxed on the couch. It was a great day and one that our daddy very much deserved.

I feel truly grateful that my girls have such a wonderful father. Allen was born to be a father, he loves his girls with his whole heart and his entire being. I love when we are all four sitting in our living room and he looks over at me and says, "I love my family, I am so lucky!" What a man. He doesn't care if he sounds like a sissy, he is who he is and I love that.
I love when we are driving down the street and I see him peeking in the rear view mirror to check on his girls. He always look over at me and says, "I love them so much."

He loves to make you laugh. This adult man will go in your playroom sit on the floor with his sweeties and play, like a grown child. He will blow bubbles for you, read you books, change your nasty poopy diapers, sing you a song, tickle you like mad, and love the heck out of you.

He will act like a complete fool just to see you smile. He is the most patient person I know and loves acting like a child.

He will swoop in at any minute to dry your tears, calm you down, and love your sweet little heart.
He is a naturally wonderful father yet he isn't afraid of asking what he can do to get better. He follows his heart. He will listen to my ridiculous antics about food, sleep, routine, and early childhood. He goes with it because he wants what is best for you and trusts that in my madness and research backing facts, I might be 5% right. Bless his patience.

He talks about our future and all that he wants for you and for us as a family. He is the rock of our sweet little family and I am so thankful that God chose this man to be the father of my children. I am forever thankful and I am confident with this man in our lives and God as our father and the center of our lives, we can handle anything that life has to bring.
Over this past year, I have watched this wonderful husband grow into an amazing father and let me tell you... there is nothing sexier than a man who loves his family!

Happy Father's Day to my wonderful Dad and Pa. I am so lucky to have wonderful men in my life.

MDO & Swimming Lessons

The girls started Mother's Day Out yesterday and they LOVED it!!! When I dropped them off they did great!!! They both easily went to their teachers got down on the floor and started playing and socializing. Their teachers said that they did great and that the girls were cracking them up! I love that!!!

I wasn't to worried about how the girls would react (they are pretty social & love everyone) but I was a little more worried for myself. As I pulled into MDO I teared up a little but I was in such a rush that there wasn't time to cry. But, when I finished dropping them off and went to my car alone, the tears were rolling. They grow up so fast and being in their with all of those moms it just hit me, I really am a mom. I am a mom to two beautiful, sweet, precious little girls. Isn't that incredible? I feel so lucky!

I couldn't wait to pick the girls up, I went a little early...

Getting ready to go!!!

Swimming Lessons!!!
We had a super busy day yesterday. We also started swimming lessons. The girls LOVED it! It is more like playing games in the water but they still enjoyed it. They were splashing, kicking, and screaming. I love this age and all of the fun things we are getting to do.

Here Lately...

Here Lately... We have been busy. I literally feel like we don't have 30 minutes of any day to sit down and blog, think, eat, and sometimes sleep. This usually doesn't bother me because I honestly enjoy being busy... somewhat. WOW! These girls are kicking my butt.

Londyn & Livia are EVERYWHERE!!! They aren't walking yet but they might as well be. They crawl so fast that I can hardly keep up. When I redirect one the other has thought of something new. So, here are a montage of pictures to show you a little of what we have been up to.

I am enjoying the summer with my girls, we are having a blast!!!

We spend a LOT of time outside.
The girls LOVE to be outside exploring.
They enjoy climbing and sliding on their play-toy.
The best is when they stand across from one
another and "talk" in their secret language.
It involves a lot of screaming.

The Pool!!!
I bought the girls a pool and they
love to splash around in it.

I LOVE this picture!

SO Much FUN Mom!!!

The Good, The Bad,
The DISGUSTING!!!
Here's the story... It's gross, but I have to share.

So, I am feeding the girls lunch; pears, green beans, and chicken & noodle soup. They are loving it. It is ALL over them... literally. Naturally, I will now have to bathe them in the sink. I grab all the bath stuff and the first baby, Livi.

I finish bathing her, lotion her up and realize... I forgot a diaper. I think to my self, certainly 5 minutes nothing will happen... Sit her on the ground and off she goes.

I am bathing Londyn and Livi starts down the hall. Suddenly it get very quite, no hands clattering on the tile or babbling so I know I need to check. I put Londyn on the ground, run around the corner and Livi is just sitting there, innocently looking at me. I shut the door to my bedroom (their favorite place) and return to finish Londyn.

About 2 minutes later, I finish Lu, walk around the corner and... POOP... it is everywhere and Livi is LOVING it. She is smashing it in the ground and putting it all over her. Outloud I say, you have got to be kidding me...

I put Londyn in the pack-n-play, I pick up Livi, scrub her body clean, walk around the corner to start cleaning the mess up off of the floor and Daisy, our dog, has eaten half of it. This time I say, dumb dog... disgusting.

So there you have it, the good, the bad, the ugly, you get to hear it all!!! Enjoy!!!
