Tear...

My girls are getting so big so fast. In 1 and 1/2 months they will be one, can you believe it? It feels as if yesterday I was just finding out they were both going to be girls. Furthermore, this past Sunday at church, I walked up to the computer, Allen checked them in, we got our name tags and walked to class. Chelsae (my sister) was with us and said, "Aren't they in that classroom (pointing to a "big kid" class), that is what their nametag said?" Well, I quickly told her no and that we were going to their old class. Next, we were told that they had been moved to the next class...WHAT!!! They aren't in the baby class anymore??? I was shocked because to me they are still babies. I was sad/scared that they were being moved because I LOVE the girls teachers. I know that they love my girls and I feel so comfortable with them. I mean, when I drop them off they are referred to as their girls... I love that. I trust the church that we go to and know that their next teachers will be great but I was disappointed to see them in a classroom of walkers.

The best part of the story, We drop off the girls, go to "big" church, find our seats, and sit down. I turn to Allen with huge tears in my eyes and say, I just wasn't ready for that. (I am a planner and since I didn't know that move was coming, it made it even more difficult for me). If I would have known I could have prepared myself for that move. Anyways, I shed a few tears, literally rolling down my face, got laughed at by hubby and Chels and enjoyed the sermon. When I picked the girls up they were doing wonderfully, seems they adjusted well.

Enjoy everday, it goes by so quickly.
I love you sweet peas.

Lately...

It has been a while... Life is a little crazy in the education world. Parent/Teacher conferences, report cards, spring parties, and my kinders were ready for a break. Needless to say, we have been busy at home. I am SO excited for spring break - I can't wait to be with the girls all day & night for a week straight. I have been missing them like crazy, my heart has literally ached. Here is what we have been up to at home this week... it's been busy, but fun!

For the LOVE of LEMONS!!!
As many of you are aware, I LOVE lemons.
I can cut one in half, drizzle it in salt, and
completely eat it. Well, when I was pregnant it
was one of my few cravings. It seems I passed it
off to the girls. No sour faces... only the desire for
another taste. So, my girls get their love of lemons
from their mamma. Mmmmm Good!!!
Give me MORE... please!
Thank you... I know I am funny!!!
I want to try...
OMG!!! Give me more... NOW!!!
Livi LOVED it!
THANK YOU
We have decided going out to eat isn't too bad
as long as you include the girls. Let them have some
food and make them feel like they are a part of it.
Everyone loves a nap after lunch.
Bathtime
Probably the girls FAVORITE time of day.
They LOVE the water... they are already little fish.
They have a new obsession with the faucet and the
water pouring out. They literally have a hand/arm war
over whose hand can touch it the longest/quickest.
It is HILARIOUS!!!
Ly little love is crawling... so well!!!
She is also a studier/thinker...
~Shopping Cart~
They LOVE it.
After daddy put it together they went exploring.
They were touching it, sucking on it, pushing/falling,
on it. They tried so hard to keep themselves balanced
and they did a wonderful job. Not quite able to pull
themselves up BUT we are balancing while holding
onto something. Milestones... they come so quickly.

Bring on the Shopping!!!
We have been doing a lot of this...
and this...
Mom, Dad...
Can we play the NEW GAME?
The girls were having a blast going under and
over the boppy. It was hilarious. We were having
so much fun. Laughing hysterically!!!
(notice Livi in line behind Lu)
My turn...

More Mommy LOVE!!!
Enough for TWO!!!
XOXOXOXOXOXOXO
OUR MIMI...
She is AMAZING!!!
Mimi watches the girls Monday - Thursday while
I am at work. She is amazing with the girls! I am
so blessed to know that my girls are safe and in
the care of someone who loves them like I do... almost.
I also love that they are going to be so close to their Mimi.
I have always been fortunate enough to be extremely close
to my memaw and mom and now the girls will have that bond
with their Mimi too. It is so nice to know how loved these girls
are. I fill like their little love buckets are so full that they could
just topple over. I hope for them to be such loving and
compassionate young girls and eventually ladies. I am confident
that as this is modeled to them that they will naturally take
on the compassion for loving others sincerely,
unconditionally and faithfully.
Thank you Mimi & everyone else in our lives
who love these girls so deeply.
I love you mom and the girls love you too.
 Have a FANTASTIC weekend!!!
