9 Months... Or a Little Over...

The girls had their 9 month checkup
(they were actually almost 10 months) this week.
Drum roll please...

Londyn Paige

16 pounds 14 ounces (10%)

Length: 27 inches (20%)

Head Circumference: 17 1/2 (34%)

Livia Grace

14 pounds 13 ounces (1%)

Length: 27 inches (20%)

Head Circumference: 16 3/4 (8%)

So the percentages don't look all that great BUT,
perspective people...

Preemies, 7 weeks early, 26 days in the NICU (30 for Livi)

We go for weight checks but Doctor says they are PERFECT!

Also, they are hitting all 9 month milestones except for...

pulling up to a stand and waving. I am SO proud!

I knew they would show everyone that preemie or not,

they were more than capable of hitting those milestones!

I love you sweet baby girls, you have made the last

10 months of my life an absolute dream come true.

One of the really exciting things about turning 9 months, is that you get to try human food. SO EXCITING. The first night we tried spaghetti noodles, they were past the point of hunger so they were only interested in a bottle. Night two we tried broccoli and shredded cheese... talk about LOVE it. They both ate it up, we had to give them several feeding of cheese. We also tried out these mum-mum biscuits, they are like rice cakes - another favorite for the girls. I am going to try and give them only healthy options and no sugar until their 1st birthday, I know it will be hard. Happy healthy eating!

I promise I am nice and dressed up everyday

for work but when I hit home... comfy clothes are on.

Lexie came over today and she was LOVING the exersaucer!

She is almost 3, so sweet, well behaved, and she LOVES the babies!

2 more months and the girls will be 1!!!

I am already starting to brainstorm...

Here Lately...

What a wonderful week! The girls are finally over their stomach bug and we are back to normal. Sweet little spunky personalities and full of fun.

The girls Nana makes sure that she sees them every two weeks. She started this when the girls were born. Nana feels like if she goes three weeks, way too much changes... she is so very right. We are so glad she started this. We would love to see her even more but we cherish the times we have with her. Thank you for loving the girls and making a point to see them so very often. They will forever have these bonds and memories.
