Boys & Bows

When I was pregnant, I was absolutely for sure I was having two boys. I never dreamed I would be blessed with girls, I wanted a girl so bad... I guess GOD knew that I needed two girls instead of one. I even had a dream about two little boys, we were at a pool party and they were my children. Well, since I was so sure that I was having boys... I ordered these adorable boy onesies from gap. The nice thing about girls... throw on a bow and you completely change the outfit. So here is to my sweet little girls, you can ROCK some boy clothes...
By the way, can you believe it - they are in opposite outfits (besides pajamas) not going to happen too often!

As the girls are getting older it
is getting much harder to get pictures
of them both looking at the camera
and both smiling. Impossible these days!
Have a Great Weekend!!!

Lately...

Mommy has gone back to work... So, this means that blog posts will most likely be weekly or twice a week (if I am lucky). For those of you who don't know I have taken a long term substitute position in a kindergarten classroom (it's difficult to find a job in the middle of the year). The experience is excellent and I think it is the best way to prepare me for next year. I am really enjoying and I am even able to implement a few of my ideas. Did I mention... I LOVE teaching!!!

So most of my pictures are from when I get home from work, weekend, or in the mornings. Typically, both girls are awake by 6:30 or 7:00 so I get to see them for about an hour before I head off to work. Although it makes it a bit more challenging to get ready for work, it has worked out nicely so that I can spend time with them in the mornings. Not to mention, they are in the BEST moods in the morning. The girls absolutely love watching me put my make-up on and stare at me in awe as I blow dry my hair.
Did I mention... I LOVE being a MOM soooo much!!!

All of these pictures are from random days... We will call it,
a collection of the week!

We recently went to Lakeshore
(the teacher store)
and got some AWESOME new toys!
We got instruments, manipulative type toys, etc.
As you can see, the girls LOVE them!
Funny story behind this toy...
Everytime Livi plays with it
she laughs hysterically!
It is adorable - I had to get it for her.
Londyn can't keep her hands off of this.
She loves to spin the mirror as fast as possible!
This is one of my most FAVORITE pictures.
It shows their personalities so well...
My Sweeties!
Londyn has been very interested in dog toys...
and their bones & their food!
Livi loves looking at herself.
Here lately, she has been kissing the mirror
everytime she recognizes that she's on the other side.
It's Time to Baby Proof...
The time has come!
Jenny Jump Up!!!
Not going to lie...
these things kind of scared me...
We tried it & the girls love it!!!

Playing together...Again!!!
One our nightly favorites...
Reading - our FAVORITE book!!!
Can you tell they LOVE this book?
This is what Londyn does when she sees a
BaBa... and yes she is babbling this!
BaBa!!!
Love these sweet smiles!!!
The simple things.

9 Months Ago Today!!!

I was playing around on my computer and I stumbled upon these pictures. I can't believe this was me 9 short months ago. I remember feeling like I was pregnant forever )although it was only 33 weeks) and now I feel like the 9 months have absolutely flown by.

At my baby shower!
The day before my labor started...
Notice how tight my tummy was... who knew?
My head is turned because...
I was discusted by how big my face had gotten!
This was the night when the girls made their debut.
It was around 4:15
I was fully effaced, dilated to a 10
and patiently waiting on an epidural...
I was also sweating like a pig and practically naked!
I was very scared for the girls but
shockingly, I was not scared about the labor.
This is my wonderful hubby rubbing my feet
(they had been wrapped tightly for a week with those
leg massage things so that I wouldn't get
a blood clot... they were so sore & very tight).
We did a great job at holding off my labor for a week...
I think the shower (doctor approved)
I took that morning pushed the labor into action.
(I had not gotten out of bed in 4 days - doctors orders)
I was so gross!!!
Memaw has the only picture of me &
I will be the only one to see it!

At 4:55 & 4:57
these precious sweeties came into my world!
Wow! They have changed my life... FOREVER!!!
I Love You Sweet Peas!
This picture is when they were a month old.
Can you believe this all happened 9 months ago...
Crazy!!!

Pretty in Pearls!

As we were stuck inside... I decide to do a photo-shoot with the girls! I am so not a professional photographer but I think they turned out pretty good, thanks to my little models! I really want a nice new fancy camera so I can start taking some really nice quality photographs. Maybe I will get one soon. I stole this idea from a students mom, she did this with her girls and it was so cute! Love It!!!

My girls are so Pretty in Pearls!!!
Just figuring them out...
Mom, we like the pearls!!!

My Babies ~ I Love You

I have decided that I LOVE to blog
about my girls! It is so fun, refreshing,
and therapeutic. I found a program where
you can turn your blog into a scrapbook.
After the girls first year, I am going to do this for them.
And every year after.
I want them to know how special they are
and all of the fun memories we had together.
I think they will LOVE it!!!

Happy Blogging!!!
