Dallas Here We Come!!!

This past weekend, we went to Dallas for a little R&R!!! We had a BLAST!!! Allen, Livi, Londyn & I packed up on Friday afternoon and hit the road. We enjoyed our family time... we didn't do much but hang out in the hotel room, watch movies - while enjoying dessert, ate yummy food, shopped (a little), and just relaxed. Before we had the girls, Allen and I would always go to Dallas for a quick get away. We still plan on doing that, with the girls of course!!! Although it is a little harder with the girls we honestly had more fun with them there. I took tons of pictures, I am about to overload you...

So the sleeping didn't go so well...

They woke up all night but we were completely

off of our routine so it was to be expected.

On Saturday, at 4 a.m. the girls woke up and

really wanted to play - so they did...

Londyn's zipper broke during her  middle of the

night feeding so, she got to wear a cute onesie to bed.

Time to go to Nana's Birthday dinner...

travel with. Thanks for making our family

getaways SO much better. We LOVE you!!!

Another awesome thing that happened this

weekend... The girls have always been aware

of one another but this weekend the interacted

together... a lot!!! They were looking at each other,

touching one another, and of course tugging

 toys away from each other.

I caved in, we tried the baby biscuits... The girls LOVED them!!! At first, they were a little unsure but as soon as they figured out when they went into their mouth that they tasted yummy - they were sold!!! I must warn you, these things can get messy but it is totally worth it for the little sweeties!!!

GYMBOREE ~ Fun for Me!

We Did It! We took the girls to Gymboree. Schrag called with a fantastic idea to go to Gymbore with the babies. It was a BLAST! I must admit, I was a little nervous at first, not knowing what to expect... We sang lots of songs, played with scarves, noise shakers, and did some baby socializing. It was FUN! The girls reacted differently to it. Livi was very excited about it & Londyn spent her time taking it in & then going for it... Honestly, I thought their reactions would be opposite! My girls always seem to surprise me - oh how I love them!!!

SPLISH! SPLASH! We Tried Out A New Bath!

As the girls are able to sit up better, I felt confident about trying out the new bath thing - you know.... where they sit up rather than lay down. Well, Londyn was a little unsure about it. She prefers to lay back and relax at her bath-time, she also likes to kick her legs like crazy and she was unable to do this. It was hilarious because the bottom was slick so she kept slipping down, this she did not like. However, she did enjoy the bubbles! I think we will stick with the bath where Lulu can relax and lay backwards for now.

Next up, Livi's turn. She loved this thing! When she saw the toys swimming around her she splatted the water with excitement and when I made the toys talk & spray water she laughed. She was able to hold herself up and reach for the toys. She also loved the bubbles! I think we are ready to try this again with Livi, she really seemed to love it.

Nap Time!!!

I have been consistently putting the girls down for a nap in their bed around the same time every day and they are loving it. It makes our day so nice and I am able to quickly pick up the house, attempt getting ready & update the blog!

How is is that, I can put the girls down for a nap and they can go right to sleep - within 5 minutes. 

BUT... 

At night it takes us hours to get Livy to sleep.

 I am a little confused about this...
