GYMBOREE ~ Fun for Me!

We Did It! We took the girls to Gymboree. Schrag called with a fantastic idea to go to Gymbore with the babies. It was a BLAST! I must admit, I was a little nervous at first, not knowing what to expect... We sang lots of songs, played with scarves, noise shakers, and did some baby socializing. It was FUN! The girls reacted differently to it. Livi was very excited about it & Londyn spent her time taking it in & then going for it... Honestly, I thought their reactions would be opposite! My girls always seem to surprise me - oh how I love them!!!

SPLISH! SPLASH! We Tried Out A New Bath!

As the girls are able to sit up better, I felt confident about trying out the new bath thing - you know.... where they sit up rather than lay down. Well, Londyn was a little unsure about it. She prefers to lay back and relax at her bath-time, she also likes to kick her legs like crazy and she was unable to do this. It was hilarious because the bottom was slick so she kept slipping down, this she did not like. However, she did enjoy the bubbles! I think we will stick with the bath where Lulu can relax and lay backwards for now.

Next up, Livi's turn. She loved this thing! When she saw the toys swimming around her she splatted the water with excitement and when I made the toys talk & spray water she laughed. She was able to hold herself up and reach for the toys. She also loved the bubbles! I think we are ready to try this again with Livi, she really seemed to love it.

Nap Time!!!

I have been consistently putting the girls down for a nap in their bed around the same time every day and they are loving it. It makes our day so nice and I am able to quickly pick up the house, attempt getting ready & update the blog!

How is is that, I can put the girls down for a nap and they can go right to sleep - within 5 minutes. 

BUT... 

At night it takes us hours to get Livy to sleep.

Happy 98th Birthday Great Great Grandma!!!

Yesterday was the girls Great Great Grandma Yokley's 98th birthday. So we had a little party and took the girls. She absolutely LOVES seeing, snuggling, holding, & kissing on the girls! I think it reminds her of when she had her twins (my grandpa and his brother). I enjoy talking to her about her experiences - she says soon they will start their own little language between the two of them that only they will understand. It's going to be so cute!

It Is official - Livy Grace has her bottom two teeth!!! Thank goodness they are in because let me tell you.... she was a crank as they were coming in, poor baby. Congrats to both of my girls who have their two bottom teeth! The pics aren't great - I don't know how people can get good teeth pics, their tongues are always in the way.
