WORKING ON THAT WHOLE SITTING UP THING....

The girls have shown a little interest in sitting up and we are occasionally working on it. I don't get all worked up on reaching the milestones exactly on time. Here is how I see it, when a baby is ready then it will come naturally, enjoy where they are and what they are doing and the rest will fall into place. Since the girls were preemies (7 weeks early) we heard from the get go... "now expect them to be a little slower, it typically takes 2 years for them to get caught up." This frustrated me. At first, I was all worried about it and then I decided to let that fear go. Their pediatrician is EXTREMELY impressed at where they are developmentally, she even told me that they are PERFECT! This means so much especially when I think about where they started. I too agree, they are perfect... at least to me!!!

So, here are some pictures of them working on the whole sitting up thing...

Just doing my best to sit up ~ Livy

Yeah, I am working on it too.... Lulu

That's more like it... just hold us already.

MY PRECIOUS BABIES!!!

I absolutely LOVE to blog. I finished my very last class tonight, presented a 25 minute ACTION research paper and turned in the twenty page paper. Needless to say, I will now have much more time to blog. I can't believe I am officially finished with school. Degree number 2 down - none to go... at least for now! Time to spend ALL my extra time with my little sweeties.

So here are a few of the girls just hanging!

Little Miss Sassy Pants - Lulu!!!

The Little Lover - Livy Grace!!!

Londyn checking out the tree - hmmmm... not sure what to think!

I seriously think Livy is going to be my little bookworm - when you read her a book she seriously listens to you and studies the pictures. Ask anyone, Liv is a thinker!!!!

Watching Mommy and Daddy decorate for Christmas - my FAVORITE time of the year!!! I am so excited to start , many new traditions with our family. So far, I started a Christmas book basket that stays in the living room and we read books out of it every night. We also had family Christmas pictures taken last Saturday. We are having a kids Christmas party on Dec. 20th (I don't care if you think they are too young) =). I will inform you of the many other traditions we start! I am sooo excited!!!

I love these precious hands!

Sweet dreams!!! Love You All!!!

SPOT!

I have to post a pic of Lulu's rash. We have nick named her spot. She has extreme dry skin and can't use anything that has fragrance in it - she needs it all natural. She woke up on Tuesday morning (I was already at work) and she was covered with... spots! Poor baby, she has the driest skin and evidently my soaking her in lotion was NOT helping. She has been taking medicine for 5 days now and is looking a lot better! Love you Lu!

Had to put up a few of my sweeties playing with their toes!!!

Getting ready to get in the bath - their favorite!!!!
~Have a wonderful week everyone~

Allen's Side of the Family!

Next, we were off to see Allen's side of the family. The girls Poppa, Pamma, Nana, Ray, Auntie M, Jeremy, Kenzie, and sooo many others. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to see you soon!
My camera went dead so I have lots of pics on my Iphone but I don't know how to get those on my computer so those will be coming later.
We began at Poppa's and Pammas (for some reason, I don't have any pics with Pamma - but we love her). We had a mexican Thanksgiving at their home, went and looked at Ardmore Christmas Lights and watched movies. Lots of Fun!
 Livy Grace and Poppa
Then we went for a ride on the four wheelers... Funnest thing ever!!! When I was driving I was going so fast tears were streaming down my face and Allen and I were laughing so hard our stomachs hurt. I think I was secretly born to race four wheelers - they are SO FUN!!!
Next we went to Linda's for Thanksgiving with Nana's side!
